Our client is a large company with presence in more than 100 countries and employing 50'000 people worldwide. Their European Financial and Statutory Accounting Group is looking for a Financial Accountant specialised in Finnish GAAP to be located at the multicultural site in Zürich, Switzerland.

Arbetsbeskrivning
- Producing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reporting packages for group consolidation under US GAAP
- Preparation of annual statutory financial statements under Finnish GAAP together with supporting tax packages
- Following and implementing changes in US and Finnish financial reporting requirements
- Cooperating with partners within and outside the Finance department to ensure completeness and accuracy of accounting for all companies under your responsibility
- Closely cooperating with internal and external auditors
- Ensuring proper and timely application of internal control procedures, with particular reference to SOX

Vem söker vi?
- Bachelor, Master or equivalent degree in Accounting
- Sound knowledge of Finnish Accounting developed during at least 3-5 years in an international Finance environment
- Fluency in Finnish and English is required, knowledge of another language would be an advantage
- Sound knowledge of IFRS and/or US-GAAP
- Good experience with SAP software
- Self-starter with a demonstrated ability to work independently and within tight deadlines
- Attention to detail, an ability to organize yourself and to set appropriate priorities are also critical
- Good team skills and an ability to communicate clearly should be amongst your strong points
