Michael Page is now recruiting, on behalf of AXA Real Estate, a Financial Controller. Responsibilities will include overseeing and managing the reporting and accounting processes, liaising with and critically evaluating the companies external service providers.

The right candidate will also be in charge of reviewing property management reports from local Property Managers. The role operates on a Nordic level.

The position is full time with placement in their office in central Stockholm.

Arbetsbeskrivning
A pivotal role within the business where you will be responsible for being the link between AXA Real Estate and their external service providers:

- Manage the flow of information between local Property Managers and Fund Managers in a proactive way
- Critically appraise financial reports before submitting them to Fund Accounting Teams
- Initiative and drive to take on a newly developed role and ambition to develop the role as the business grows
- Implement standard reporting templates for all local service providers
- Take lead in the selection and appointment of all service providers, this also includes negotiating contracts and agreements
- Implement, develop and maintain strong financial systems and controls for the local operation
- Provide operational support for the local Asset Management Team
- Various ad hoc projects and tasks

Vem söker vi?
- University degree in Finance/Accounting
- A minimum of 5 years relevant experience
- Previous exposure to or understanding of the Nordic Real Estate market is considered a merit
- Able to communicate and influence at all levels within the firm
- Confident to effectively build and pro-actively manage professional relationships
- Self motivated person who is able to successfully prioritise project and routine tasks and deliver to deadlines
- Experience of working in a small team
- Team player who can interact with both colleagues and clients at both senior and junior levels
- Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- Knowledge of another Nordic language is considered a merit
